Petron was honored at the Gawad Manileño 2025 Awards Ceremony as a key contributor to Manila’s real property revenues. Gawad Manileño is an annual event where the City Government honors outstanding individuals, institutions, and enterprises whose contributions have significantly advanced the city’s development, pride, and honor. This was held at the Diamond Hotel on Friday, June 20.
Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan presented the awards along with other city officials. Petron was represented by Lube Manufacturing Manager Ma. Theresalina Palafox and Government Relations Manager Karen Domingo, who received the award on behalf of the company.
A number of our facilities are located in Manila, including our New Lube Oil Blending Plant, R&D Laboratory, Pandacan Sales Office, and around thirty service stations. Petron continually ranks among the city’s top taxpayers for its significant contributions to helping Manila realize its tax targets.
