    Job Functions:

    • Under Applications Development Group: The primary function of the Applications Development Specialist is to analyze the business process information requirements of the proponents, develop corresponding IT application systems and configure off-the-shelf software systems to meet the said requirements. He/she will also create technical specifications and develop programs to address software gaps in end-user requirements. Lastly, he/she is also responsible for proto-typing, testing, data design and cross-system interface development.

    Job Requirements: 

    • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science / Engineering or related courses
    • Preferably with at least 3 year working experience with SAP ECC 6.0 as a functional expert or an ABAP Programmer
    • Knowledge in different modules of SAP specially in FICO would be an advantage

    Job Functions:

    • Under International Trade Finance: On a daily basis, to handle daily liquidity/clearing of accounts/monitoring of various USD transactions; foreign exchange hedging; booking of spot purchases, forwards, NDF's, swaps, etc.; processing of Letter of Credit (LC) applications for crude/finished product importations; sourcing and booking of dollar loans; preparation of daily advice letter to BSP/various banks on spot purchases and forward transactions

    Job Requirements: 

    • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting/Business Administration/Commerce/Economics or equivalent
    • Preferably with at least 1 year experience in the similar field, preferably in the treasury/banking profession
    • With accounting and SAP knowledge would be an advantage

    Job Function:

    • Procure assigned item/services at the most competitive terms and ensure timely delivery of required services while complying with the company's purchasing policies and procedures
    • Review purchase requests, communication with vendors and proponents, review proces, negotiation of price and terms, suitability and availability of services

    Job Requirements:

    • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree or Professional License in the  courses of Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Industrial Engineering. 
    • At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field of Procurement/Purchasing is required for this position; exposure in the construction industry, production/materials planning and other supply chain functions would be an advantage. Fresh graduates may also apply.
    • Must be willing to do field works/site inspection

    Job Function: Carries out effective marketing and selling of company products in his specific area of assignment; also promotes and nurtures strong relationships with key customers.

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree / College degree in any field, preferably Engineering
    • At least 2 years experience in sales
    • High aptitude for sales and marketing work
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Knows how to drive
    • Willing to be assigned in provinces

    Job Function:

    • To checkwrite all transactions paid through manual checks/e-payments
    • Review of bills and payment processing
    • Revision/correction in SAP of postings; releasing of parked invoices upon SAP verification
    • Monthly monitoring of parked documents

    Job Requirements:

    • Candidate must be a Certified Public Accountant
    • Candidates with payables/accounting-related experience is preferred, but candidates without experience yet are welcome to apply

    Job Function: Assists in supervising and controlling the entire depot operations.

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree / College degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering
    • Licensed engineer
    • Related work experience is an advantage
    • Must be proficient in MS Offices
    • Willing to be assigned in the provinces

    Job Function: Responsible for ensuring prompt and efficient deliveries of products in the Depots.

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree / College degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical
    • At least 1 year experience in related field
    • Willing to be assigned in provincial areas

    Job Function: Implements service station maintenance, repair, and construction projects and monitors performance of preventive maintenance of contractors.

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor's / College Degree in Engineering, preferably in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
    • Licensed engineer
    • At least 2 years experience in project management and implementation
    • Must know how to drive
    • Willing to be assigned in the provinces

    Job Function: Responsible for the preparation of various management reports particularly financial statements.

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree / College degree in Commerce / Business Administration major in AccountingŸ
    • CPA
    • At least 2 years related work experience
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Willingness to work flexible hours as required

    Job Function: Responsible for assisting in the technical aspects of the overall refinery process operations, operating data analysis, environmental protection & pollution control, energy efficiency and conservation, and on the evaluation & process design of projects.

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree / College degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
    • Licensed engineer
    • Related work experience in process engineering & design, project management
    • Experience in Refinery Operations is an advantage
    • Willing to be assigned in Petron Bataan Refinery
    • Knows how to drive

    Job Function: Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and facilities associated with processing of crude oil into various petroleum products

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree / College degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
    • Licensed Engineer
    • Relevant work experience is an advantage
    • Fresh graduate may be considered ( above average academic performance is a factor )
    • Willing to be assigned in Petron Bataan Refinery

    Job Function: Responsible for developing short-term and long-term marketing/corporate plans and strategies as well as evaluation/monitoring of programs, investments, and budgets; considers alignment and attainment of overall marketing and corporate objectives.

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree / College degree in Accountancy, Economics, Engineering or Business Management
    • Master's Degree in Business Administration is an advantage
    • At least 2 years work experience in planning, financial and project feasibility
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills

    Area Sales Manager

    Over my past 30 years of service in Petron, I have been assigned to handle several assignments. I started as an Administrative Systems Analyst. In 1984, I was temporarily assigned as Corporate Planning Analyst in the now defunct Philippine National Oil Company (PNOC) Marine Corporation, a shipyard and shipbuilding affiliate of PNOC. A year later, I assigned as Area Sales Executive for Petron Gasul's industrial sales. I assumed several sales positions later on before being assigned as Sales Coordinator in 2000 and being promoted to Gasul Luzon Industrial and Technical Manager and North Luzon Reseller Manager. Today, I am the Area Sales Manager for South Luzon.

    Throughout this long path and the numerous positions, I could say that I chartered a very challenging but fruitful and fulfilling career in a company which has more than adequately provided for my family's needs. With Petron, there was never any worry about the future because the company has always been there to support me and has compensated me well for the service that I have rendered. Although the work can be taxing sometimes, my colleagues and friends have been very valuable in developing my well-being as an individual, a professional, and a Petron representative. As a sales manager, the sense of accomplishment at seeing satisfied customers, improving sales volumes, strengthening business ties with dealers and partners, and contributing substantially to the company's profitability and bottom-line is something that an employee like me can be truly proud of.
