PETRON XD-3 is a single-grade, multipurpose, low ash engine oil recommended for both turbocharged and supercharged heavy duty diesel engines for highway and off-highway applications not requiring a multigrade oil.

Properties:

Highly effective control of wear
Protection from bearing corrosion
Resistant to high temperature deposit formation
Applicable when using fuels of a wide quality range including high sulfur fuels

Applications:

Recommended for trucks and heavy industrial and construction equipment such as Caterpillar, Cummins, Mack Truck EO-J/K2 and Detroit diesel engines
The SAE-30 grade is applicable for Allison C-3 Transmissions
Can also be used for gasoline-powered equipment and as hydraulic and transmission oil for forklifts and construction equipment.

 NOTE:  Not recommended for GM-EMD units with silver bearings.  For zinc-free engine oil requirements, see Petron 2040 and Petron Railroad Extra.
